Amidst the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, we understand more than ever how critical it is to be there for one another. To support our communities and our students, Duke has an opportunity to connect undergraduate and graduate students with nonprofit, government and community organizations this summer to serve remotely. We have reached out to across the Triangle for projects or experiences appropriate for a student to complete this summer. Proposed student experiences must be remote, may start as early as the first week in June, can vary in terms of hours, can be from 2 – 8 weeks in length, and should focus on specific deliverables for the organization.
Organizations located in Durham, Orange and Wake Counties were encouraged to submit a request for a remote student project or experience. Students may apply to receive funding from Duke for positions or opportunities that are otherwise unpaid. Please note that we are unable to guarantee every request will be matched with a student. Requests from organizations were due May 26 and the submission process is closed.
