Engaged Scholar Writing Retreat
September 6 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Are you teaching an engaged pedagogy such as service-learning, community-based research, or participatory action research and working to advance your scholarship? Does your research include community partners? Do you want to explore ways to connect with others who are also working on community-engaged scholarship? Join North Carolina faculty in this one-day writing retreat for engaged scholars. The retreat includes time for writing as well as discussions on project topics and writing strategies. Bring a writing project that you want to work on, at any stage of completion. You’ll make progress on it while participating in a writing community.
Sponsored by North Carolina Campus Compact. Facilitated by 2018-19 Engaged Faculty Scholar Dr. Jennifer Ahern-Dodson, Director of the Duke Faculty Write Program.
