Greensboro Tornado Relief

There are a number of ways in which community members can offer relief to those affected by the tornado in Guilford County earlier this month. The City of Greensboro website outlines ways to donate supplies, equipment, money or food and the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro is accepting monetary donations (be sure to select the “East Greensboro Tornado Relief Fund”).

You may also consider donating items from the list below, organized by individuals from the Center for Child and Family Policy at the Sanford School who have been working closely with preschools affected by the storms. Collection for these items will be in Rubenstein Hall 224 (Erika Layko’s office), as well as a Smith Warehouse collection location in Bay 8, 2nd floor, B225 (Leslie Parkins’s office) until May 4.
