The 2017-2018 Duke College Advising Corps Application is now OPEN!

The Duke College Advising Corps places exceptional current Duke undergraduate seniors and recent alums (‘14, ‘15, ‘16) from all fields of study in central North Carolina high schools as near-peer college advisers to lead low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students to college. Advisers serve the entire school year, with the possibility of extending their term of service for an additional year. Upon completion of a term of service, Advisers are eligible to receive a monetary award for loan repayment or future graduate education.

Priority Application Deadline: January 13, 2017

Start Date: All new and returning staff will start their 2017-2018 year of service with a mandatory 5-week training in Durham, NC (July-August), and begin working at Duke CAC partner high schools in early August.
